El Arca Queretaro we have landed and been welcomed

Hello All,

We have made it to our final destination.  We are a few days off our downloads so the pictures you will see may not follow our time line.

I have been journaling all day and much of what I write reminds me of my first time in community.   As we landed in Mexico City, it was new, exciting then the uncertinty of what we had said yes to.   There is a challenge with the language that has allowed me to deepen in my listening, deepen in my intentionality of thought and words.

It has been a true adventure.  I think that each post will be a small vignette of a day, a snap shot.

It could be about the 3 times they paged our group to get on the flight.  It could be the sugar free Chococlate Treat Doug enjoyed after climbing up and down the pyramids.  It could also be the flat tire or the eco artist we met.   All so fantastic all part of the adventure, the friends and supporters of the community members that helped us get to our final destination.  Those that made us breakfast  and opened their homes.  Eating the fruit of the prickly pear cactus quite good.

It has been a long journey, today marks our first time in the Community of Queretaro and it has been a gift.

As we parked the car and slowly stretched and moved from the 2.5 hour  car ride and gently approuched  taking our time to breathe in all we have experienced thus far we realized the community was waiting around the corner so patiently, so full of love and joy with their handmade sign,

smiles for days and excitement that breathed live into the weary travelers.

More to come but here are some photos of those we enjoyed.
